In the construction of Ram temple by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, holy soil and holy water was taken from the holy places of Botad district for anointing. The controversy over construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has been going on for years.  Preparations are in full swing to build a temple of Lord Rama.

 The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has decided to collect sacred soil and holy water from holy temples and religious places all over India while the Hindu community has faith in building a temple of Lord Shriram in Ayodhya. The Salangpur Kashtabhanjan  BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Salangpur has donated holy clay and holy water to the President and Minister and workers of Botad District Vishwa Hindu Parishad for laying the foundation stone for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and anointing the statue of Lord Ram with water.  Construction of Shri Ram Temple has been started in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram.

 To lay the foundation of this temple, holy soil and holy water will be collected from all the religious places of Botad district and delivered to Vishwa Hindu Parishad for the construction of Lord Shriram's temple in Ayodhya.
